Boost Recognition Amongst Your Competitors By Winning Web Awards
By BWA Staff
Here’s a link to a great article from Website Magazine on how Web awards can increase your online profile. Here’s an excerpt:
“Just about everyone seeks some form of approval and recognition every now and then. And approval amongst our peers and customers is critical for website success. One of the challenges of running a successful website is being able to set yours apart from the likely hundreds or thousands that offer exactly what you do or some close variation. That’s precisely where website awards fit into the marketing mix.”

New Categories for 2010…Suggestions?
By BWA Staff | Comments
1As we gear up for the 2010 Black Weblog Awards here at BWA HQ, we want to know what categories you think should be included for this year. Right now, we have an impressive stable of 31 categories (!), but the bloggers themselves know what’s hot, what’s not, and what needs to be recognized. Speak up and let us know what you want included as a category in this year’s Awards.
The comment box is open. Let’s hear it!
Subscribe To the Black Weblog Award Winners!
By BWA Staff
Do you want to keep up with the Black Weblog Award winners blogs? Sure you do…it’s some of the best content available on the web. We went through and pulled the RSS feeds from all the winners (with active blogs), and compiled them into one super feed (an OPML feed in geek speak). Just take a gander over at the right sidebar.
Don’t just click the link though! You need to save the file to your desktop then import it into the feedreader of your choice. We like Google Reader over here at BWA headquarters. We’re going to update this feed with new winners every year, so you’ll want to keep coming back after winners are announced. Just another service from your friendly neighborhood Black Weblog Awards.
