Blogging Story: Patrice J. Williams
By Maurice | 5 comments
5This blogging story comes to us from Patrice J. Williams of Living Fly On a Dime.
Living Fly on a Dime came about late last year when I was at a crossroad in my career. After being laid off from my job at a fashion magazine, I was a bit unsure of what I wanted to do. I also had no idea how I was going to survive in an expensive city like New York without a full time gig. I was able to secure freelance work but I knew I also wanted to start my own venture, something that was all mine, something where no one could ever “terminate my position.”
I wanted to do something, but was just unsure of what it was.

Blogging Story: Bre Sylvia

7This blogging story comes to us from Bre Sylvia of CelebretyBish.
Blogging is another way of expressing yourself to the mass without public speaking. I started to blog in the summer of 2006 because I was bored, on vacation from school, and didn’t have a job. So I sat in front of my computer and blogged, all day and all night. Blogging enhanced my writing skills and vocabulary. It caused me to look up words that I’ve heard, wanted to use, but didn’t know the definition of.
