Blogging Story: Anthonia Kehinde
Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at 09:00AM
This blogging story comes to us from Anthonia Kehinde of little thoughts....
Ever since I can remember, I had always had a problem expressing myself vocally; it got to the point where everyone used to call me ‘snail in a shell’. Whenever I got angry, upset, happy etc., the first thing I would do was to find my pen and paper. Growing up I was literally the Matilda of my school. I would read everything and anything. I loved history books, and politics, especially ones focusing on Africa.
Fast forward to March 2010. I thought, maybe what I write privately to myself might be of interest to someone else. So I ventured into the brave world of blogging. As a young African, I saw that there was an opportunity to be provide related, digestible, simple information about politics, history and culture. There was no need for jargon, or unnecessary technical language -- just to the point discourse.
Blogging has actually made me realise that I couldn’t be more happier writing, and me doing anything else would be like being a fish out of water.
