What Is The Black Weblog Awards Hall of Fame?
Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 07:12PM
So as you know, we are in the sixth year of the Black Weblog Awards, and we have awarded over 180 blogs. But with blogs springing up at such astronomical rates, we're doing our part to help keep the Black Weblog Awards fresh. With that, we introduced this rule last year:
Blogs which have won in a particular category over multiple years a maximum of three times are no longer eligible to win in that particular category. This includes categories which have changed names or spun off into other categories.
So before nominations officially begin, let's celebrate the blogs which have pulled three or more awards and made it into our Black Weblog Awards Hall of Fame.
So for these categories, the blogs above are not eligible for another win. They can still be nominated and win in other categories though.

- My Teenage Years (Best Teen Blog, 2006-2008)
- Young, Black and Fabulous (Blog of the Year, 2006-2008)
- Afrobella (Best Culture Blog, 2007-2009)
So for these categories, the blogs above are not eligible for another win. They can still be nominated and win in other categories though.
