Help Kickstart the 2011 Black Weblog Awards

Now that we are in our sixth year, we are expanding our mission to capture more of the Black blogosphere, increase awareness of one of the fastest growing demographics on the web, and ensure our success in the years to come.

In order to do this, we need help from the online community. In 2011, we want to have a live awards ceremony with trophies, live streaming video, and a private reception. This will not only put the Black Weblog Awards on the map physically, but also metaphorically, showing that the recognition of the breadth and depth of knowledge, experience, and cultural significance is truly worth showcasing. With your help, we can make this happen.
