Blogging Story: The Nayland House Team
Monday, July 19, 2010 at 10:00AM
This blogging story comes to us from Nayland House of The Nayland House Blog.
I noticed that I was spending a lot of time on the web, but found that most of this time was used unproductively. I tend to visit sites geared towards the Black Community or covering aspects of Black life (i.e. Bossip, Black Enterprise, etc.). I thought it would be more productive to organize the various information I was reading by focusing on my main interest – wealth through entrepreneurial endeavours.
I was inspired by the success of Black blogs like Bossip and MTO. I love MTO's bold presentation, as well as it's humble beginnings - very inspiring! In addition to this, I subscribed to Black Enterprise's print and digital copies.
It's brought a focus to my life. As well as an admiration for the large number of people in the African Diaspora achieving success and wealth. It's helped me clarify my long-term goals, and plan how best to achieve them.
