New Blogger On The Block: The Well-Rounded Home

Our new blogger on the block is:

The Well-Rounded Home by Kacey Bess.

Why did you decide to start blogging?

Now that's me, hubbie plus three (little kiddos, that is), I decided to chronicle my journey to creating a home for a family. Unfortunately, I'm not naturally gifted at typical homemaking stuff like cooking and decorating, so I get to share all the highs and lows of my journey with readers. I also thought it'd be good to add black voices to the home/DIY blogger world.

When People come to your blog what will they find?

Everything home--posts about cooking new recipes, DIY projects, organizing our home, parenting challenges, hosting kids' birthday parties, products I live and everything in between.

What is the promise that you make to people who visit your blog?

I'll keep it real. If I totally mess up a DIY project, you won't just get the pretty version. If the laundry is piling up, you'll hear about it. And if I'm having a bad day, I'll blog about it.

Who are your blogging inspirations or heroes?

So many...Destiny at A Place For Us, Seth Godin, SkinnyBlackGirl, Renae at In Her Shoes, Sherry and John at Young House Love
