Why did you decide to start blogging?
I began Frugal Fatshionista after I decided to stop trying to cover up my big beautiful body and hiding my curves. I began to explore the world of plus size fashion and found that it is a huge subculture! I took into account that there are women out there like me on a college budget and looking for a way to feel confident and gorgeous while keeping their curves.
When people come to your blog, what will they find?
When looking through my blog women will find review of stores, clothing lines, and products that can appeal to them. Most blog posts are about chic plus size fashions that are budget friendly. Also some personal blog posts and updates on whats going on in both the plus size and mainstream fashion community.
What's the promise you make to the people who visit your blog?
I promise to drench girls/ women in chic fashion CHOICES for plus sizes. It seems that now is the age when FINALLY plus size women can not only buy beautiful clothes but there is also a good selection that caters to different personality/ fashion types. I promise to mark which brands and buys are Frugal Fatshionista budget approved.
Who are your blogging inspirations or heroes?
The Curvy Fashionista for SURE!! Miss Marie Denee was kind enough to let me interview her for a speech I gave at school and we are growing close I am in awe of her so much! Also, Gabifresh and Afrobella.
