Dominion of New York-Dominion of New York is an 11-month-old online magazine that targets politically progressive urban communities. We produce blogging and original reporting about New York City, the U.S., and the world. And we excel at covering the news.
Our work has been linked to and cited by The Atlantic, the Guardian, Forbes.com, Mother Jones, TheRoot.com, Huffington Post BlackVoices and thousands more. Our writers have appeared on several radio shows in New York City.
We are independently-owned, multi-author, and currently publish 3 to 4 posts per day. Our first traffic breakthrough came in December 2011, when we hit 55,000 unique visitors in 30-days. We hit our peak traffic in March -- 66,000 unique visitors in 30-days.
Polite On Society-Polite On Society is a site of political analysis and social commentary from the African-American perspective. This site has been in existence for three years, and is read by many social media leaders and academics. The site won the award for Best Black Blog of 2011 from the Historical Black Press Foundation. POS continues to be a source of information for Black people interested in politics, history, and literature.

The blog "polite on Society" is an eye opener, although my view at times runs counter to it's posts, the back and forth discussions are made intelligently, on point and focused, truly an exhilarating blog.
